There are currently over 16 million disabled people in the UK which accounts for about 24% of the total population. By exploring the diverse experiences and challenges faced disabled people, this disability awareness workshop aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to create a more accessible and supportive environment. Let’s break down the barriers and promote respect and equality for all.

Who is the workshop for?

These workshops are designed for anyone  who wants to build their confidence and improve their interactions with disabled people. The full day workshop goes on to explore the legal aspect of disability and to develop an action plan so that you can foster a more inclusive workshop. You’ll leave with tangible, measurable action points!

Who will deliver the session?

The session will delivered by me, Aideen Blackborough – I’ve had Cerebral Palsy since birth so I have lots of knowledge and experience to share. I also have extensive experience of working with disabled people so I have a good insight into the barriers which disabled people face.
